1. Purpose and relationship to the Terms
This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) is incorporated into the Synphoria Terms of Service. It does not replace the Terms, Privacy Policy, Data Safety & Security Statement, Safeguarding Policy, DPA, order form, or service-specific terms. If a written agreement sets stricter use limits, the stricter requirement applies.
2. Legal and rights-respecting use
You may use Synphoria only for lawful, authorized, and rights-respecting purposes. You must not use the Service to violate law, breach contractual duties, infringe intellectual property, defame others, harass or threaten people, distribute unlawful material, or process data without the notices, permissions, consent, or legal basis required for your use case.
3. Security abuse and platform integrity
- Do not attack, scan, probe, overload, disrupt, or bypass Synphoria systems, accounts, APIs, rate limits, authentication, billing controls, consent gates, privacy floors, or safety safeguards.
- Do not introduce malware, credential stuffing, phishing, spam, bot traffic, unauthorized scraping, data exfiltration, reverse engineering, or attempts to access another tenant, account, company, clinic, candidate, patient, or private-support surface.
- Do not use Synphoria to build competing abuse infrastructure, to hide the origin of attacks, or to test harmful techniques against real people or organizations without written authorization.
4. Privacy, workplace, and clinic boundaries
- Do not try to deanonymize aggregate Wellness or Oracle output, identify individual employees from cohort signals, or use manager/admin/company access to infer private Sofia, Mark, Memory, Guardian, clinic, or support content.
- Do not upload private support conversations, medical records, employee monitoring exports, Slack/Teams raw messages, candidate records, clinic notes, or other sensitive data unless the relevant Synphoria surface, agreement, consent, notice, privacy floor, and data-protection terms allow that specific processing.
- Do not use Synphoria to pressure, profile, punish, surveil, or discriminate against employees, candidates, patients, users, or protected groups.
5. AI, safety, and high-impact decisions
- Do not present Synphoria output as medical diagnosis, treatment, prescription, emergency dispatch, legal advice, financial advice, or a final employment decision.
- Do not use Synphoria to automate hiring, rejection, promotion, discipline, termination, clinical, insurance, credit, housing, education, or other high-impact decisions unless a separate written agreement, required legal controls, and responsible human review are in place.
- Do not bypass Guardian, safeguarding, consent, age, safety, or escalation boundaries, and do not use the Service to generate self-harm, violence, abuse, exploitation, or evasion instructions.
6. Content, communications, and integrations
You are responsible for content, instructions, files, prompts, integration settings, company records, clinic records, recruitment materials, and messages submitted under your account or workspace. Do not submit content that is unlawful, abusive, deceptive, exploitative, infringing, malicious, or outside the scope of the applicable workspace, clinic, partner, reseller, or recruitment relationship.
7. Commercial, resale, and competitive restrictions
Do not resell, sublicense, white-label, benchmark, scrape, copy, frame, or commercially exploit the Service except as allowed by a signed agreement. Do not remove proprietary notices, claim ownership of Synphoria systems, or use non-public platform behavior, prompts, outputs, or documentation to build a competing service.
8. Enforcement and reporting
Synphoria may investigate suspected violations and may throttle, suspend, restrict, remove content, disable integrations, block access, preserve evidence, notify an administrator, refuse support, or terminate access where needed to protect users, tenants, privacy, security, safety, legal compliance, or service integrity. To report abuse, security issues, or safeguarding concerns, contact security@synphoria.app. General policy questions can be sent to contact@synphoria.app.
